Linden Studio sewing workshop is located in Maryland, USA. Our experienced seamstresses specialize in custom window treatments, delivering high-quality, handcrafted results tailored to your home.

How to Measure

Inside Mount:

• Width: Measure top, middle, and bottom—use the smallest measurement
• Height: Measure left, middle, and right—use the longest measurement

Outside Mount:

• Width: Add 1–2 inches on each side of the window
• Height: Measure from mounting point to desired length

Always double-check your measurements and account for any obstructions such as handles or trims.

Fabric Requirements

Estimated fabric calculation:

• Fabric width = Shade width + 5 inches
• Fabric length = Shade length + 15 inches

If your fabric has a pattern repeat, add (pattern length × 2) to the total fabric length.

We recommend pre-washing natural fabrics such as linen or cotton to account for shrinkage.

Lining Options

• Cotton privacy lining
• Blackout lining

Lining is optional and can be added separately upon request.

All custom-made items are final sale and non-returnable unless there is an error on our part. Please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.

• All notions are included in the price
• Additional 25% fee applies to velvet or very thick fabrics
• Old or pre-used fabrics may require additional evaluation
• Remaining fabric will be returned with your finished shade
• Optional insurance for your fabric is available upon request
