About Our Workshop
Our Linden Studio (formerly Linen Duet) sewing workshop is located in Maryland, USA. Our skilled seamstresses specialize in custom curtains and drapery with years of experience working with both residential and large-scale projects.
What’s Included
- Price includes sewing of 1 custom curtain tie-up valance panel
- Rod pocket (3") for standard curtain rod installation
- Four fabric ties for adjustable gathering and styling
- Return shipping of finished item
The valance is designed as a straight panel with adjustable ties that allow you to create soft folds, control fullness, and adjust hanging height for a casual or structured look.
Material Guidelines
- Customer provides fabric
- Additional 25% fee applies for velvet, velour, or very thick fabrics
- Extra charges may apply for old or pre-used textiles
How It Works
Step 1 – Measure Your Valance
- Width: measure your curtain rod (this determines finished width)
- Length: measure from top of rod to desired bottom point
Step 2 – Prepare Your Fabric
- Rod width + 5 inches = recommended fabric width
- Valance length + 20 inches = recommended fabric length
If your fabric has a pattern repeat, additional fabric may be required. We recommend washing natural fabrics before sending to account for shrinkage.
We can also order Spoonflower fabrics for you with a 10% discount: Spoonflower Fabric
