Custom Curtains Made From Your Fabric

Do you already have the perfect fabric picked out and just need someone to sew it all together? We create beautiful custom curtains from your own fabric, handcrafted in our Maryland sewing studio by experienced seamstresses specializing in custom drapery and home textiles.

Choose your preferred curtain heading style, send us your fabric, and we’ll take care of the rest. All notions are included in the listing price.

Price includes sewing of ONE curtain panel.

Please note: Additional charges may apply for velvet, velour, extra thick fabrics, or repurposed/used textiles.

Available Curtain Styles

• Rod Pocket — pocket is approximately 3" wide
• Back Tabs — using heading tape with 3" back tabs
• Top Tabs — tabs are approximately 3" long
• Multifunctional Tape — Kronill-style heading tape that can be styled as back tabs, pinch pleats, or used with ceiling tracks
• Grommets — available in Matte Coffee, Matte Silver, and Black
• Ripple Fold — modern soft wave curtain style

We also offer custom pleated curtains in additional heading styles.

How to Measure

Curtain Width:
We recommend making curtains 1.5–2 times wider than your window width for soft, elegant fullness. For Ripple Fold curtains, we recommend a fullness ratio of 2.

The width selected in the listing reflects the curtain panel width before gathering. For example, if you order a 40" wide panel and gather it at a fullness ratio of 2, the finished gathered width will be approximately 20".

Curtain Length:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod to the desired finished length.

Fabric Requirements

To calculate approximate fabric yardage:

• Fabric Width: Curtain width + 5 inches
• Fabric Length: Curtain length + 10 inches

If your fabric has a repeat pattern, add twice the pattern repeat length to your total fabric length calculation.

If your fabric width is not wide enough, we can seam multiple panels together to achieve the desired width.

Please note that natural fabrics such as linen and cotton may shrink after washing. We recommend pre-washing fabric before shipping it to us.

Pricing applies to sewing with new, unused fabrics. If you would like to repurpose existing textiles, please contact us for a custom quote.

How to Order

1. Select your preferred curtain size and heading style.
2. Add the item to your shopping cart.
3. If you need a custom size, select the next largest option and include your exact measurements in the order notes.
4. After placing your order, we will send you the shipping address for our Maryland workshop within approximately 6 hours.
5. Ship your fabric to our studio using a trackable shipping method with signature confirmation.

Any remaining fabric will be returned with your finished order.

Optional Add-Ons

We also offer optional cotton lining and blackout lining for custom curtains.

Matching curtain tie backs are available separately in our shop.

Production Time

Normal production time for custom curtains is approximately 3–4 weeks.

Rush service may be available upon request for an additional fee.

Returns & Important Information

Because all items are custom made to order, we do not accept returns unless there is an error on our part.

Our shipments include insurance covering the value of the finished product only. Additional insurance for customer-supplied fabric may be purchased upon request.

We are not responsible for packages lost or damaged by shipping carriers if shipped without signature confirmation.
