About This Curtain

Our double rod pocket door curtain is a simple and versatile window treatment designed for doors, French doors, glass doors, and smaller windows.

The curtain features a rod pocket at both the top and bottom, allowing the fabric to be secured between two curtain rods. This construction keeps the curtain neatly in place while creating a clean, tailored appearance.

The double rod pocket style is especially useful for doors and other areas where you want the curtain to remain securely positioned while still allowing you to easily adjust or remove it when needed.

How to Measure

Width:

Measure the width of the door or area you would like to cover.

For a softly gathered look, we recommend making the curtain approximately 1.5–2 times wider than the area being covered.

Please note that the width selected in this listing refers to the finished width of the curtain panel.

Length:

Measure from the top of the upper curtain rod to the bottom of the lower curtain rod, or to the point where you would like the curtain to end.

If you are using existing curtain rods, measure the distance between the top of the top rod and the bottom of the bottom rod to determine the finished curtain length (i.e. - the total length of the curtain should include the distance between the rods AND the widths of the rods)

How Much Fabric Do I Need?

Here is how to calculate the approximate amount of fabric needed for one curtain panel:

• (Rod width x2 ) + 5 inches = Fabric width
• Curtain length + 10 inches = Fabric length

If your fabric has a repeat pattern, measure the length of the pattern, multiply it by 2, and add this amount to the total fabric length calculated above.

If the width of your fabric does not allow for the desired curtain width, we can sew two or more pieces together to create the required width.

Because fabrics vary in width, pattern repeat, and shrinkage, we recommend contacting us before purchasing fabric if you would like us to calculate the exact yardage for your project.

Some fabrics, especially natural fibers such as linen and cotton, may shrink after the first wash. We recommend pre-washing your fabric before sending it to us or calculating the required fabric quantity based on the manufacturer's recommended shrinkage.

Please note that pricing applies to sewing and construction from new, unused fabrics. If you have existing curtains, bedding, or other textiles that you would like to repurpose into a door curtain, please contact us with the details and we will provide a custom quote.

After your order is placed, we will send you the detailed address and instructions for shipping your fabric to our Maryland workshop. Please allow up to 6 hours for us to review your order details and send this information.

Ship Your Fabric to Our Workshop

Once you place your order, we will provide the address of our sewing workshop in Maryland, US.

If you purchase your fabric online, you may have it shipped directly to our workshop.

If you are shipping the fabric yourself, please use a trackable shipping method with signature confirmation upon delivery. We are not responsible for customer-supplied fabric that is lost or damaged during transit by the shipping carrier.

We will return any remaining pieces of your fabric to you with your finished product.

Production Time

Normal production time is 3–4 weeks.

If you need your order sooner, please contact us to request rush service. Rush service is subject to availability and carries an additional 20% fee.

Returns & Important Information

Because this is a custom-made product, we do not accept returns on custom orders unless there is an error on our part.

Our shipments include insurance that covers the cost of the finished product only. If you would like to insure your customer-supplied fabric as well, additional insurance must be purchased to cover its value. Please contact us before shipping your fabric to request additional insurance.

We cannot be held responsible for the cost of customer-supplied fabrics that are lost or damaged in transit by the shipping carrier.
