Product description
Do you already have the perfect fabrics picked out and just need them transformed into a beautifully finished window treatment? We can professionally manufacture a custom scalloped valance from your own materials, turning your fabrics into an elegant, designer-quality statement piece.
Simply ship your fabrics to our workshop, and our experienced team will handle the rest. All sewing notions are included in the listing price—you provide the fabric, and we bring your vision to life.
Design Overview
This scalloped valance is a double-layered design made from two coordinating fabrics supplied by you. Both layers are shaped into soft, flowing scallops, with the top layer revealing the contrast fabric underneath for added depth, dimension, and visual interest.
For a refined and structured finish, each layer is lined with cotton, enhancing durability and creating a smooth, professional drape. The valance is completed with a rod pocket for easy installation.
Each scallop measures approximately 15 inches wide, though the exact number of scallops will vary depending on your custom dimensions.
What’s Included
- Price includes sewing of 1 scalloped valance (double-layer construction)
- Cotton lining for each fabric layer
- Rod pocket (3") for standard curtain rod installation
- Return shipping of finished item

Fabric Requirements
- Customer provides both top and bottom fabrics
- Additional 25% fee applies for velvet, velour, or very heavy fabrics
- Additional charges may apply for repurposed or pre-used textiles
How It Works
Step 1 – Measure Your Valance
- Width: equal to your curtain rod length
- Length: from top of rod to lowest point of scallop
Step 2 – Prepare Your Fabrics
Each of the two fabrics (top and bottom layers) should be calculated separately:
- Rod length + 5 inches = fabric width
- Valance length + 8 inches = fabric length
If your fabric has a pattern repeat, additional yardage may be required. We strongly recommend contacting us before purchasing fabric for precise calculations.
We can also source Spoonflower fabrics for you with a 10% discount: Shop Spoonflower
We recommend pre-washing natural fabrics to account for potential shrinkage.
